The condo patio is is a southern facing, ~8’ x 20’ workable space. This space is roofed and does not have running water available outside. There is also some space used up by the southern column running up near the center of the southern border (can be seen just to the right in the image above).

The micro climate dome caused by the bricks absorbing the sun causes plants contained within this space to stay warm much longer than in the other garden spaces. As noted in 2025-11-06 Pulling in the peppers, heat loving plants can stay out on the patio all the way up to the beginning of November depending on a mild fall.

The biggest issue of this space are the two pine trees just south of it that block high noon sun. As such, sun loving plants only do well in two small locations of the space, and in the coming 2026 season I will focus on only adding containers in those spots.

If the berry bushes survive the winter, they will remain to the left of the south column.
