Planted Violas
Took some of the King Henry Violas and Cool Summer Breeze Violas plugs, and planted around the perimeter of the Company Community Garden. Purchased a straw bale from Gardner Supply for $16 to mulch the plot. Straw is a very effective mulch, but very messy in the back of a hatchback 🙃
Started plants in Community Garden
Transplanted out the following plants to the City Community Garden:
- 1 American Purple Top Rutabaga (The rest in the Grow Tent died 😔)
- 6 Purple Vienna Kohlrabi
- 5 Romanesco Cauliflower
Seeded the following:
- ~50 Oregon Sugar Pod II Snow Peas (Finished the packet)
- 3 American Purple Top Rutabaga
- 4 Lacinato Dinosaur Kale
- 2 rows mix of Carrots and radishes. Including Tonda di Parigi Carrots and Easter Egg Blend Radish
- 2 rows of Ice Queen
- 1 row of Five Color Silverbeet Swiss Chard
Started the Black Velvet
Soaked three of the Black Velvet Nasturtiums on 2026-04-17. Placed them in paper pots.
